Putting Science Made Simple

Our Science - Our System

Below are golfers tests results using their own putters and different styles of holding the grip, including the style the golfers were currently using at the time of the test. We have tested with a number of variations for you to see the comparisons and we will continue to test golfers using different types of grips on their putters and with different styles of the way they Hold the putter. You are welcome to click on the results and add them to the COMPARE PUTTING TESTS for comparison. I have also listed the way the tests were conducted and what tests were done.

PUTTING TESTS

Putting tests were based on the golfers favorite way of holding the putter grip along side variations of other holds that are commonly used today. The golfers were introduced to the BJM Hold System and BJM Kotahi Putter Grip for the first time during the tests and no one tested here had been exposed to, or tried the BJM Hold system or BJM Kotahi Putter Grip prior to the tests.

All tests were done in a controlled environment inside a studio on a putting mat so the surface did not influence the golfers.

All golfers had 5 practice putts using the a particular Holding System before 5 tests were done with the same Hold System.

A golfers were asked to aim directly at the center of the hole and hit the ball with the correct amount of strength to reach the hole as they would when trying to sink the putt.

At no stage were the golfers coached, other than showing the next style of Hold to be tested, or influenced during the testing.
